We are thrilled to announce that Scanmed Group O&Uuml; and Scanmed SIA have successfully furnished a new laboratory at Riga Stradin&scaron; University in Latvia. The laboratory, covering an area of 833 square meters, is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment to support the universitys research initiatives in the fields of biomedicine, medical technologies, biopharmaceutics, and biotechnologies.
Our team is proud of being a part of this project. We provided the university with high-quality laboratory equipment, including Waldner fume hoods, Score ergonomic laboratory chairs, laminar cabinets, built-in laboratory furniture, and more.
This project was a significant milestone for our team. We appreciate the opportunity and look forward to continued collaborations with Riga Stradin&scaron; University and other institutions in the future.

The laboratory, covering an area of 833 square meters, is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment to support the university's research initiatives in the fields of biomedicine, medical technologies, biopharmaceutics, and biotechnologies.

The operating block of the University of Tartu Clinic, which looks like a simple "All-White" solution, is one of the most technically demanding SHD Italia projects.
As part of this project, we installed SHD Italia in 15 operating rooms, including corridors and support areas. Due to local standards and regulations, we tested the air permeability of each element, making the complete solution completely airtight.
We installed the standard Lindo modular wall panel solution of the SA Tartu University Clinic SHD Italia. During installation, all operating theaters underwent rigorous testing.

Clinic of Medical Rehabilitation of East Tallinn Central Hospital welcomes long-awaited robotic glove Gloreha Sinfonia to be used in activity therapy or for restoring, developing or maintaining patients&rsquo; hand functions.
The device can be used in the acute period as well as in the later stages of rehabilitation. It is possible to perform exercises both for specific areas (wrist, hand, fingers) and to develop more extensive movements (shoulder and forearm movement).
The robot can be used for various diagnoses and functional disorders, such as disorders caused by damage to the central nervous system, peripheral nerve damage, various hand traumas, post-surgery conditions, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It can also be used to alleviate pain and reduce swelling and to improve hand coordination and dexterity. You can record the patient&rsquo;s performance for comparison over time and assessment of progress made.
&ldquo;This robotic glove is a high-tech tool for our activity therapists in their work with patients,&rdquo; says Katrin Olo-Laansoo, Head of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Centre of the Clinic of Medical Rehabilitation of East Tallinn Central Hospital. &ldquo;Using it, we can help patients improve the fine motor skills and function of the arms and hands.&rdquo;
The purchase was made possible thanks to the donations collected through the Sinilill (liverwort) charity campaign organised by the Estonian Injured Servicemen Society. The campaign raised 70,000 euros that was donated to the hospital to purchase the device

We delivered and installed the Asecose Type 90 fireproof safety cabinet in the department of the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics, which is engaged in the daily research and storage of lithium batteries. The special feature of the cabinet is to have a temperature and smoke sensor and also a fire extinguishing system inside the cabinet. In addition, there is a module next to the cabinet that provides a signal to the safety desk / rescue center.
